Sommelier and doctor approved.

Pere Mata, "Cupada n 17" Brut Nature Reserva   -   12
Sant Sadurni D'Anoia, Spain 2012

This is the one for you!  No, SERIOUSLY.... With notes of orange blossom and white peach, followed by a clean burst of minerality, this sparkler is just the girl (or guy) you should be drinking tonight!

Pere Mata, "Trepat" Brut Reserva   -   12
Sant Sadurni D'Anoia, Spain 2014
A fresh hint of lavender, strawberry and flowers immediately bring you to the Spanish seaside as you smell this Cava!  Vibrant and clean like a summer's eve, this creamy and delicate sparkling rosé is perfect for any occasion.

WHITE

Ferdinand, Albariño   -   12
Napa, California 2015

A Clean and bright white out of California, so clean it might remind you of fresh laundry, perfect for Sauvignon blanc fans.  With notes of lime, peach and white flowers, this classic Spanish-style white is great for anytime and anyone!

Chehalem, Chardonnay   -   13
Willamette Valley, Oregon 2015

On the label: RS 0.8%; pH 3.19; TA 7.2; 7500 cs. I just got a nerd boner.  Proper abbreviations and use of semicolons, as well?  Now I'm swooning.  Anyone who takes this much care in labeling definitely treats winemaking with the utmost respect.  Oh, and those abbr. translate to crisp, low sugar, small production Chardonnay with no oak contact.

Vöcal Vineyards, Grüner Veltliner   -   14
Santa Cruz Mountains, California 2014

Fresh and true like a California summer, this stunner from the Santa Cruz mountains is exactly what the doctor ordered!  Great mouthfeel with white peach, lemon, apple and a slight saline quality that beguiles the senses.  The more time you spend with this wine, the better your life will be.

i Stefanini, "i Selese" Soave DOC   -   10
Veneto, Italy 2014

As said in James and the Giant Peach, "There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours you haven't even started wondering about yet," and I couldn't agree more when it comes to this wine!  Vivid and fruitful with flavors of white peach, apricot, and soft hints of summer grass...this wine will have you searching for things you didn't even know you needed!

Zeitgeist, Trousseau Gris   -   13
Russian River, California 2015

This amazing classic French varietal is making a huge splash in the Russian river.  Bright lemon bars, like your grandmother's summer desserts, and clean rich finish.  This wine will take your grey days away with one sip!  Sit back, relax, and remember those beautiful summer nights.

ROSÉ

L'Éléphant, Grenache-Syrah Rosé   -   13
Provence, France 2016

Is there a pink elephant in the corner or am I imagining that?  This classic southern France rosé is the perfect way to wind down the day and maybe create some crazy thoughts with... Hints of sage, strawberry, and a bright clean finish.  This rosé will make you go mad... maybe that really is a pink elephant?

Domaine Gauthier, Beaujolais-Villages Rosé   -   10
Beaujolais, France 2016

There is a Greek looking lady motif on the label, surrounded by rosé buds, encompassed in a very "frilly", pink outlined shape. (I'm guessing we'd call this aesthetic Dionysian meets grandma's closet?)  They really should've just put a bird on it.  Anyways, we aren't drinking the label (thankfully); because the juice is pure, vibrant, gamay noir in a beautifully laid back style.

"Porron" Rose (500 ml)   -   30
This is a "fun spout" decanter from Spain filled with delicious rosé!

RED

Tritano, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo   -   11
Abruzzo, Italy 2012

Looking for that bold and smooth red?  Well look no further!  This Montepulciano is lush and rich with dark red fruit and soft hints of spice.  Perfect for a backyard bbq or just a great night at Baldoria!  Try it with a cheese plate and you will be singing that's amore!

Manousakis Winery, "Boarding Pass" Syrah   -   12
Crete, Greece 2016

Vacations are awesome.  Vacation in France or Greece?  Definitely not bad.  But what about inventing time travel and vacationing in both AT THE SAME TIME.  Yeah, this wine does that.  Boarding Pass is made from Hermitage clippings that were re-planted in Crete, resulting in an approachable, fresh, and utterly delicious Syrah sure to pair with almost anything, including any DeLorean fantasies you might harbor.

Cooper Mountain, Pinot Noir   -   13
Williamette Valley, Oregon 2015

No fuss, balanced, organic Pinot Noir from Oregon.  Just drink and smile.  Sometimes overthinking is overthinking.  You'd laugh endlessly if you knew the person who wrote that.

Tenuta Sassoregale, Sangiovese   -   12
Tuscany, Italy 2015

This wine reminds me of the Texas Hill country: rolling cedar tree expanses, Jerry Jeff Walker, wild boar and a simpler daily rhythm.  The "blood of jove" made in an approachable, food friendly wine that somehow just feels like home.  Think Italian grandmothers and table wine from the house cellar.  Think family and holidays.  Think comfort.  Feel at home.

Domaine de Courteillac, Bordeaux Superieur  -   14
Bordeaux, France 2014

Do you really like film noir?  Or do you just want to appear erudite?  Do you really like wine?  Or do you just want to appear cultured?  This wine is graphite, dark plum fruit, leather and tobacco well encased in tannin, aka an oenophile's dream.  Do you really like film noir???
